Fun and Educational Ways to Keep Your Kids Busy with Stickers

If you got yourself an active toddler - you'll be surprised how stickers can buy you a few moments of silence.

This was an accidental discovery when I had to go check in on J (4-year old) because he was a little too-quiet. You know that - stop you in your tracks, I better check up on my kid silence. Went to the order room and found him silently peeling away each sticker to transfer to another sheet of paper.

In our household we love stickers - for both adult and kids, but for today we'll focus on how stickers can keep kids busy. Here are some activities that kids can engage in:

  1. Sticker Books: Sticker books can keep children engaged for hours. These books contain various scenes where children can stick appropriate stickers, allowing them to create their own stories.

  2. Art & Craft Projects: Stickers can be used in art and craft projects, such as making greeting cards, decorating picture frames, or creating collages. This can stimulate their creativity and imagination.

  3. Educational Activities: Stickers can be used in educational activities as well. For example, you can create games that help them learn about different animals, objects, or even letters and numbers. They can be asked to match the sticker to its correct name or category.

  4. Reward System: Stickers can be used as a motivational tool in a reward system. For each task they complete or good behaviour they demonstrate, they earn a sticker. This keeps them engaged and motivates them to work towards a goal.

  5. Sticker Collection: Some children enjoy collecting stickers. This can keep them busy as they sort, categorize, and arrange their collections.

  6. Scavenger Hunt: Hide stickers around the house and give your child clues to find them. This can keep them active and engaged for a long time.

  7. Decorating Objects: Stickers can be used to decorate their personal belongings, such as lunchboxes, notebooks, pencil cases, etc. It can be a fun way for them to personalize their things. We offer a series of waterproof vinyl stickers for more durable decorating.

  8. Sticker Puzzles: Some stickers come in pieces that can be put together to create a complete picture, much like a jigsaw puzzle. These can keep kids busy and also improve their problem-solving skills.

We offer a growing collection of stickers that all ship for $1 flat rate within Canada. This way it's easy to get a little happy mail.

Final notes:

Always remember to supervise younger children when using stickers, as they can be a choking hazard.
